Future Sounds Better

Future Sounds Better (FSB) is a Music Innovation Hub programme providing consultancy, design and management services for projects and formats dedicated to music technology development.

We support innovative music startups through European accelerator programmes and strategic partnerships.

We organize outreach, community building, networking, capacity building and professional training in the music business.

FSB Meetup w/ Musixmatch

Music Innovation Hub organizes FSB Meetup: a series of monthly meetings to keep up with all the latest news from the music industry, featuring special guests and innovative new organizations and initiatives. FSB Meetups have a twofold objective: the dissemination of innovative projects within the music industry and the building of the first Italian music-tech community.

Musixmatch is the world’s leading music data company.
Their mission is to provide data, tools and services that allows the experience of music to be enriched across the whole world.

SEPTEMBER 15th, 6pm
musicROOMS, BASE MILANO (via Bergognone 34)

On Thursday the 15th of September 2022, Music Innovation Hub and Musixmatch, under the format “Future Sounds Better”, will be hosting a meet-up for Women in Music Tech and Production. This will be a networking event to promote and connect women that fall under the categories of Music and STEM.

The focus of this event will include:
– tech innovation in the production space
– technological resources and tools for modern producers
– overcoming cognitive and cultural barriers to success.

According to a recent Billboard Magazine Study, less than 5% of women in the music industry as a whole are music producers (Billboard, Voice Mag UK). We know that this percentage is a reflection of historical barriers women have faced in tech industries internationally, and it is our mission, by events such as these, to tear down these barriers and make way for a new generation of women in music tech.

This event will be in English and is open to all.
All the guests will be announced very soon.

FSB’s Meetups are completely free to attend, simply sign up here.
A few days before the event you will be asked to confirm your attendance and will receive full details of the meeting. As Meetups are limited in capacity, please let us know in advance if you are unable to attend so that we can offer your place to someone else who is interested.
