MIH powers innovative, socially responsible projects in the music industry. Launched in Milan in 2018 and located within the multifunctional spaces at BASE, MIH is the first Social Enterprise of its kind in Italy.

How we work

Boasting a range of specialist skills, MIH is attuned to the needs of today’s society and implements fair and conscious action that respects environmental sustainability, gender equality, inclusivity towards minorities, and a fairer distribution of music revenue through the innovation of models and processes.

In an ethos founded on collaboration and ecosystem, MIH brings together figures from the music industry and beyond: businesses, freelancers, start-ups, institutions, policy makers, cultural operators, and investors, with the emphasis firmly on international dialogue.

Education is the first step towards innovating the music industry and establishing the values of tomorrow.

MIH powers training, capacity building, incubation and acceleration for present and future players in the industry.

MIH tackles the challenges of modern life by fostering experimentation in technological innovation and cultural expression. We design digital platforms to encourage new ways of accessing, producing, consuming, and distributing music, and then share the results, solutions and opportunities. We promote research into new artistic expressions and productions with cultural impact.

Ranging from an online international and European presence to the local level, every project we develop targets a specific segment of workers, artists, and audience, connected to us through a system of communication channels that include websites, social media, and platforms equipped with a CRM system that employs state-of-the-art technology and access solutions.

Our formats are versatile and scalable, with a strong brand identity and defined targets. Developed to generate an impact that chimes with our mission, they are open to external partnerships and provide platforms that can accommodate content and players from throughout the industry. Each format comes with proposed solutions for a broad spectrum of visibility, public relations and networking needs.
